How Power Advantage is staying COVID-19 secure?
Power Advantage has reopened its doors in this pandemic and, as we begin to work on our sites and offices once more, we know there will surely be many questions around how life with Power Advantage might seem in the short and long term.
Delivering electromechanical services & Testing and Commissioning, our workplace protection has forever been our top priority. Yet, it has driven on an entirely new meaning since the emergence of the Coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, we’re doing everything we can to safeguard our customers and staff as we take these following, tentative, actions.
Our manager has been keeping a close eye on all Government guidelines and advice, to assist establish several policies and procedures which will benefit us all return to operations. This includes guidance on what you can expect, as well as what rules may be evolving to adapt to COVID-19.
We confirm that Power Advantage has complied with the Government’s administration on managing the risk of COVID-19.
Here are some measures that we've already taken as per the guidelines:
1. Risk assessment – We’ve conducted a COVID-19 risk assessment, and copies can be discovered on central notice boards, in reception, or by asking our managers.
2. Heightened hygiene – We have executed new handwashing, cleaning, and hygiene procedures in line with Government guidance. There will be banners in all bathrooms, sanitizer stations throughout the office, and cleaning check-sheets in each area.
3. Working from home – For those who are not yet turning to the office, we are ready to take all feasible steps to help people work remotely.
4. Social distancing – We have taken all the right steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace – both in terms of social areas and desk space. There are also various awareness posters throughout the office, as well as simple floor markings.
5. Personal protection equipment – Where employees cannot be 2m apart, we have taken everything possible to manage transmission risk.
